At Isle of Wight Hideaways we offer two different levels of service; Marketed or Fully-Managed

Sometimes renting out your property is not always easy to juggle with a busy lifestyle and work commitments and especially if you don’t live locally, so we have a Fully-Managed Service which provides additional benefits on top of our standard Marketing Service.

Our Fully-Managed service encompasses everything we include in our Marketed service, but very much takes all the work and hassle away from you and allows you to relax in the knowledge that not only will Isle of Wight Hideaways get the best occupancy rate for your property, but we will also take care of everything else on your behalf. This includes checking and making your property ready for incoming guests and responding to any issues they may have during their stay. Effectively we become your eyes and ears in Isle of Wight and are here to respond to guest feedback, recruit tradespeople when you need them, order replacement appliances if required and ensure that everything runs smoothly in terms of the changeover, gardening and fuel top-ups. We even check your property fortnightly to meet the requirements of your home insurance cover.

For a small quarterly charge, we are therefore able to offer a wide range of additional services to support both you and your guests, thereby maximising their enjoyment of your holiday home and delivering an exceptional service to you at the same time so you can relax in the knowledge that we have everything in hand.

In summary:

  • Full guest liaison and mediation on your behalf.
  • Recruit and manage your housekeeper and monitor housekeeping sundries on your behalf.
  • Manage all maintenance and any additional services including:
    • Gardening
    • Window cleaning
    • Health and Safety Compliance (fire risk assessment, PAT tests, Aga and boiler annual services), testing of smoke/carbon monoxide alarms, the changing of batteries
    • Replacement and/or repair of existing appliances and ordering/taking delivery of new appliances as and when the need arises and commissioning an annual chimney sweep
    • Emergency works and general maintenance
  • Loan and deliver emergency equipment to guests if something does go wrong.
  • Meet your guests at your property, if and when required to resolve any issues.
  • Use either your recommended tradespeople or our trusted tradespeople to maintain your property for holiday letting.
  • Agree an emergency budget with you upfront.
  • Provide an annual peace-of-mind maintenance report for each property including an inventory check, helping you to replenish stock if and when required.
  • Source quality towels and linens on your behalf at wholesale prices, if required.
  • Recommend local services: for example, local restaurants, private chefs, babysitters, dog walkers, taxi companies for you to use, when you are staying in your property.
